The Formula 1 World Championship first arrived in Shanghai in 2004, with the race track located at No. 2000, Yining Road, Anting Town, Jiading District. From 2004 to 2008, the Chinese leg of the F1 calendar typically took place at the end of the season, coinciding with China’s ‘Golden Week’ around the National Day. However, following the F1 schedule reform in 2009, the Chinese Grand Prix was moved up to the third race of the year. On March 21st to 23rd, 2025, the F1 Chinese Grand Prix of the 2025 season will be held at the SAIC International Circuit. The event is open from March 21st to March 23rd, Friday to Sunday, with opening times subject to the day’s conditions.
