Shanghai Ocean Aquarium is one of the few aquariums in the world with a dedicated Chinese exhibit showcasing China’s unique aquatic life, including many nationally protected species such as the Chinese Suckerfish and Chinese Alligator. Furthermore, the ‘Special Exhibition Area’ features thematic science exhibitions on species, allowing visitors to gain a deeper understanding of marine life and strengthen their awareness of ocean conservation. Especially for young people, the ‘Ocean Classroom’ provides a variety of marine educational knowledge.
