The 88th Floor Observation Deck of Jin Mao Tower is one of the renowned high-altitude viewing platforms in Shanghai, located within the Lujiazui Financial and Trade Zone. By taking the high-speed elevator in the lobby of Jin Mao Tower, which travels at a speed of 9 meters per second, you can reach the 340-meter-high observation deck in just 45 seconds. The fully transparent glass curtain wall allows you to enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of the city. It is recommended to check the weather in advance and visit on a clear day. The charming sunset can be seen in the evening, and the Lujiazui and the Bund under the night sky are particularly beautiful under the glow of lights. There are coin-operated telescopes available for use inside the observation deck (1 yuan per time). The observation deck is open year-round from 08:30 to 21:30. Preferential policies include free admission for children under 1 meter (not including) or under 3 years old (including), child tickets for those between 1 meter (including) and 1.3 meters (including), free admission for active-duty military personnel with officer’s cards and retired cadres with retirement cards, student tickets for full-time undergraduate and below students, senior tickets for those aged 70 and above, and discounted tickets for disabled persons with disability certificates.
