The exhibition is meticulously planned and unfolds chronologically and thematically, consisting of two main chapters. The first chapter showcases the creations of Gabrielle Chanel from the 1910s to the 1930s, while the second chapter highlights her work after her return to the fashion world from 1954 to 1971. Her early career was marked by a series of iconic works, including the famous jersey knit fabric striped sailor shirt—a design element that first appeared in the Chanel collection in 1913. The exhibition is open from July 12th to November 24th.
