Wusongkou is located at the confluence of the Huangpu River and the Yangtze River, approximately 4 kilometers northwest of Baoshan District. Vessels entering and exiting the Port of Shanghai and the Yangtze River all pass through here. It is named after the ancient estuary of the Wusong River. The terrain on the south bank of the Yangtze River nearby is low and flat, with an elevation of about 3 meters for the most part. It is open to the public all year round, with full-day access.
