Located in the Bund Financial Center, Fosun Art Center is a non-profit organization initiated and funded by Fosun Group and Fosun Foundation. The art center is the brainchild of British designer Thomas Heatherwick, known for its innovative three-layered curtain wall structure that can move, creating a sense of three-dimensionality and fluid artistic motion, earning it the nickname ‘the dancing building’. The center is closed all day on Mondays throughout the year. It is open from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Tuesdays to Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. On Thursdays and Saturdays, as well as during New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, Qingming Festival, Labor Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and National Day, the center extends its opening hours to 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
