Fumin Road begins at Yan’an Middle Road in the north and extends to Changle Road in the south, a short yet robust street. As you walk south from Changde Road, you’ll cross the expansive Yan’an Middle Road and arrive at the narrower Fumin Road. The initial section of the road is not as narrow, but as you approach the intersection of Julu Road and Fumin Road, you’ll notice the road significantly narrows to just two lanes wide. The number of small shops along the road increases dramatically, with the golden ‘work’ area formed by Julu Road, Fumin Road, and Changle Road being a hub for distinctive shops. The roadside sycamores cast a dim light, as if hiding enticing secrets waiting to be discovered.
