He Ping Park is located in Hongkou District, Shanghai. Established in 1958, the park is named after the large stone sculpture of a dove symbolizing peace within its grounds. The park features attractions such as the Hundred Flowers Garden, the Fruit and Flower Mountain, and the Lake Pavilion, as well as facilities like the Animal Pavilion, Aquarium, and Exhibition Hall. In 2020, the park underwent a renovation, with the old Animal Island being demolished, giving the park a fresh and renewed look. The park is open all year round, with full-day access.
