One of the ethnic culture museums in Shanghai’s colleges, the museum has a total construction area of 1036 square meters, housing 40,000 specimens with over 3,000 species, displaying more than 1,000 species. The treasure of the museum is the sperm whale; as soon as you enter, a massive sperm whale specimen stands at the center of the museum, with its white skeleton beside it. It is said that this exhibition hall was specially designed for this sperm whale specimen, which can be considered a high honor. The length of this sperm whale specimen and its skeleton is 18.4 meters, making it one of the larger sperm whale specimens in the country. Opening hours are from March 1st to June 30th, Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00-11:00 and 13:00-16:00; from September 1st to December 31st, 09:00-11:00 and 13:00-16:00. I.
