The Friendship Bridge in Macau primarily connects the Macau Peninsula with the Taipa Island. The main span of the bridge extends over 3300 meters, with the approach bridges totaling more than 800 meters. It features 1.5-meter-wide sidewalks on both sides of the traffic lanes, making it one of Asia’s premier bridges. This bridge provides access to newly constructed hotels on Taipa Island, as well as the historical and cultural centers, ferry terminals, and the airport. As evening falls, the bridge’s reflection shimmers on the gently rippling waters of the river, with cars passing by like a smooth flow of clouds and water, creating an unforgettable scene of brilliance. The bridge is open all year round, accessible 24 hours a day, with specific operating conditions subject to daily openings.
