Macau Grand Prix Tower

The Macau Grand Prix is a prestigious event in the sports and motorsport scene of Macau. The race takes place on the Guia Circuit, known for its many twists and turns, narrowness, and passing through the bustling city center. Currently, only Macau and Monaco host street races for cars globally. The event is typically held in November each year, featuring not only the renowned Formula Three but also touring car races and motorcycle races. The entire circuit encircles the East Bay Mountain in Macau, spanning 6.2 kilometers with numerous bends, uphill and downhill sections, as well as wide straightaways. The track’s wider sections reach 14 meters in width, while the narrower parts are only 7 meters. Operating hours are from November 17th to 19th, 06:30 to 18:00; and on November 20th, 06:30 to 17:00. Essential tips: 1. As it is a street race, multiple public roads need to be closed before and after the event each year, causing some inconvenience in transportation. If you do not intend to watch the race, it is recommended to avoid visiting Macau during the event period. 2. During the race period, public buses, except for AP1, 12X, 28CX, and 31, will not go to the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal, including hotel free shuttle buses.
