Avalokitesvara Lotus Garden

Commonly known among local residents as the Avalokitesvara Statue, the Avalokitesvara Lotus Garden is one of the series of Sino-Portuguese friendship memorials, located on an artificial island opposite Dr. Sun Yat-sen Avenue. The garden was cast by the Morning Light Group Corporation and consists of 47 pieces that were assembled at the current site. Inside the lotus seat of the Avalokitesvara Lotus Garden, there are two levels: the first level serves as a viewing room with a reception desk and a souvenir shop selling books, albums, and souvenirs published by the Cultural Bureau; the lower level houses a multifunctional exhibition hall and a small library. The library features a multimedia resource center with two computers for internet access. It boasts a collection of over 600 religious books in various languages, along with CDs, audiotapes, and videotapes related to religious culture. The multifunctional exhibition hall can accommodate up to fifty people, making it suitable for hosting small events. The garden is open throughout the year from Monday to Thursday and Saturday to Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00; it is closed all day on Fridays. The specific business status is subject to the daily opening conditions.
