Dragon’s Claw Cape is located on the southwest coast of Hac Sa Beach in Coloane, Macau. It is named after the ‘Dragon’s Claw Rock’ which is about 4 meters high and has a unique shape. According to legend, a small dragon in the sky was banished to the mortal world by the Jade Emperor for eating the heavenly flat peaches without permission and was imprisoned in a large stone. Therefore, the textures similar to dragon claws, dragon heads, dragon bodies, and dragon scales appear in the stone. Along the coast of Dragon’s Claw Cape are golden rocks (‘Ape-man Rock’, ‘Lizard Rock’, ‘Eagle Beak Rock’, ‘Pig Head Rock’, etc.). The coastal ecological resources are rich. The pounding of the black sand waves and the natural scenery of day and night alternation have become a shooting location for many photography enthusiasts. Open all year round and open all day.
