Yongle Theatre

Yongle Theatre is a large local theatre. It was built in 1952 with funds raised by Ho Yin. In the early days, it had 800 seats and showed domestic films. It was often full. Domestic famous films such as ‘White-Haired Girl’ and ‘Unite for Tomorrow’ were screened. It was famous in Hong Kong and Macao in the 1950s and 1960s.
