The Zheng Family Mansion is located opposite the A-Pó Well in the local Macao Street, and it is the former residence of the thinker Zheng Guanying. It is also the representative of the remaining Qing Dynasty residential compounds in the area. The mansion not only features Lingnan characteristics but also holds significant cultural value. The main residential area of the mansion is primarily composed of two quadrangle-style buildings, where the combination of Chinese and Western elements is evident throughout the architecture. Situated along Macao Street, the Zheng Family Mansion is a compound-style residence with buildings arranged sequentially in the direction of the street, including the main entrance building, the servants’ quarters, and two parallel courtyard-style buildings behind the main gate. The mansion is open all year round from Monday to Tuesday, and Thursday to Sunday, from 10:00 to 18:00. Essential visiting tips: 1. When there are too many visitors, the museum will implement crowd control measures, so it is recommended to avoid weekends and holidays. 2. The nearby A-Ma Temple can be visited in conjunction.
