Originally, this place was the ‘Koujimachi Official Residence’ of the Communications Department of the Japanese Governor-General’s Office. After the war, it was changed into a Japanese-style bungalow for the chief of the Department of Finance. Since 1972, K. T. Li has been living here. Until Mr. Li passed away in 2001, it was designated as a historical site by the government in 2003 and opened to the public in 2007. The furnishings and displays in the former residence are still the same as when Mr. and Mrs. Li were alive, just like in those years. Opening hours: Tuesday to Saturday all year round, 10:00 – 16:00.
