In its early days, Hou Dong was a region primarily known for its mining industry. Da Cu Ke and Xiao Cu Ke were two mining settlements in this area. The Xiao Cu Ke Ancient Trail was one of the mountain mining paths during that period, also referred to as the Xiao Cu Ke Gold Mining Trail. This ancient trail boasts an excellent ecological environment along its route. After being refurbished, the trail now offers good road conditions and is relatively easy to traverse. Along the way, visitors can not only enjoy the natural scenery but also encounter numerous architectural relics. The trail is open all year round, 24 hours a day, with specific operational status depending on the day’s opening conditions.
