In the early years, devotees such as Wu Xizhou, Wang Huo, and Lin A Tie, welcomed the Su Fu Wangye from Fengtian Palace in Lukang and established a private altar for the benefit of the world. Later, a Taipei legislator initiated a fundraising effort to construct a temple for Su Fu Wangye, which was met with a collective response from like-minded individuals. Consequently, the Ci Hui Gong Management Committee was formed and construction began at the current location. In 1987, Mr. Chen Facia raised funds for the renovation of Ci Hui Gong, which is the appearance we see today. The temple is open all year round from 8:00 to 20:00.
