The Yilan Administrative Memorial Hall is a Japanese-Western style building that was built in 1906. It was once used by successive administrative leaders for living and receiving guests. After the restoration of Taiwan, it was taken over by the National Government and set up as a memorial hall. The display of cultural relics and historical materials in the memorial hall mainly shows the historical and cultural changes of the Kavalan Hall era, Yilan Hall era in the Qing Dynasty, and the Yilan County era since the restoration. In front of the hall, there are old trees forming a forest. Among them, a century-old camphor tree has become a vivid witness of history. Opening hours: Open from Tuesday to Sunday all year round, 9:00 – 17:00.
