Xingtian Temple

Xingtian Temple is close to Xingtian Temple Station of MRT. It is a Taoist temple located in a bustling urban area. The main deity enshrined in the temple is Lord Guan Shengdi. The words ‘Xingtian Temple’ on the main hall were written by Yu Youren. In front of the hall is a censer for the Jade Emperor. The handles on both sides are made into soaring dragon shapes, and there are dragon heads stretching towards the sky, with unique shapes. Entering the front hall, you will see many believers bowing down and worshipping the deities. Many locals will go and worship when they encounter difficulties. Sometimes the number of believers is astonishing, and the line often extends in a circle. On the table where the deities are enshrined, there are only fresh flowers and clear tea, without other offerings. Because Xingtian Temple discourages behaviors such as burning gold paper and offering sacrificial offerings, incense and candles are supplied in the temple. There is also no merit box in front of the temple. Believers only need to pray devoutly. Opening hours: Open all year round from 4:00 to 22:00. Service facilities: Barrier-free service: Barrier-free entrance.
