The Bank of Taiwan Exhibition Hall of the National Taiwan Museum is located opposite the 228 Peace Memorial Park. Its predecessor was the Taipei Branch of the Japanese Industrial Bank. This bank used to mainly engage in financing for reclamation, civil engineering, water conservancy and agricultural funds. It was a bank handling real estate at that time and later was transformed into the Land Bank. Today, this magnificent building has been transformed into a museum. You can not only see real objects from the bank era such as old typewriters, tape recorders, and gold ingots in the vault, but also there are a large amount of video materials for you to understand the history of Taiwan. In addition, the huge dinosaur skeletons and exhibitions related to nature are also very eye-catching and suitable for bringing children to play. Opening hours: Open from Tuesday to Sunday throughout the year, from 09:30 to 17:00.
