Longtan Lake is about 5.5 kilometers away from Yilan City. It is located at the southern foot of Yaoyao Mountain in the north of Sijie and Longtan. Longtan Lake is surrounded by mountains on three sides. Along the lakeside road, there are shady trees and weeping willows reflected in the water. The scenery is charming. The shallow grass slope in the valley to the east of the lake can be used as a camping site. There are two temples nearby, one is Longtan Temple and the other is Fuyan Guohu Zen Temple. Opening hours: open all day all year round.
