Established by Mr. Luo Ji-Kun in 1992, Jiufen Historical and Cultural Studio has been dedicated to the documentation and promotion of Jiufen’s unique culture since 1987 through photography. The studio offers free access to the information and records accumulated over the years, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the distinctive charm of Jiufen. Additionally, the studio provides tour consultation, professional guiding services, and scheduled presentations on Jiufen’s photographic slides taken by Mr. Luo Ji-Kun. It also engages in academic research, interviews, and the sale of publications, making relentless efforts to promote the culture of this nostalgic mountain town. Please note that the studio’s opening hours are not fixed and require prior appointment.
