Jilong Mountain, originally named Jilong Mountain, is a conical extinct volcano with an elevation of approximately 588 meters. It now features a hiking trail that leads to the summit. Located at the pass between Jiufen and Jin Guashi, the Jilong Mountain hiking trail follows a series of uphill stone steps. Along the way, there are beautiful landscapes and a viewing platform where you can overlook the urban and rural areas as well as the coastline. The trail is open all year round, 24 hours a day.
