Guandu Nature Park is located at the confluence of the Keelung River and the Danshui River, specifically in the low-lying area at the southwest corner of the Guandu Plain within the Taipei Basin. Over the years, it has been an essential stopover and wintering site for thousands of migratory birds moving north and south. In 1996, the local authorities officially established this marsh wetland as Guandu Nature Park. The park is open all year round from Saturday to Sunday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM; and from Tuesday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
