Located in Gui’s Sui Street, Daan District, Taipei City, the Gu Mansion was constructed in 1910 and originally served as a salt trading center, hence the local nickname ‘Salt Hall’. It also functioned as the Taipei office for the prominent Gu family from Lukang. Over time, the building was expanded to include a residential area and a Western-style building that blends Chinese and Western architectural elements. The mansion is open all year round, with access available at all times. However, please note that the specific operational status is subject to the day’s opening conditions.
