Fuchung has launched a series of fantastic city activities themed ‘The Era of Bangqiao’ for nearly a month, with six major themes taking turns every weekend. This year’s ‘Fuchung Fantasy City’, themed around the Bangqiao Era, brings together resources from the Economic Development Bureau, Cultural Bureau, Market Department, and Fuchung Business District to present a variety of exciting events. These include scaled-down historical scene displays, a youth film and television aesthetics special exhibition, Fuchung YA Lifestyle, New Taipei Good Market Festival, as well as Fuchung’s unique activities, all offering a rich thematic experience every weekend for nearly a month, allowing everyone to experience the diverse aspects of Banqiao. The Fuchung business district, originally the site of the Banqiao Train Station, has been inspired by early local architectural characteristics for this year’s ‘Fuchung Fantasy City’. Five scaled-down classic buildings have been created, including the Bangqiao Station, Banqiao Public School, Banqiao Post Office, Banqiao Distillery, and Banqiao Broadcasting Station. These historical buildings act as witnesses of time, carrying the memories of Banqiao over the past century. The opening period is from October 9th to October 31st, with specific business hours subject to the day’s opening conditions.
