Beitou Puji Temple, formerly known as Tiezhen Yuan, is a Linji school Buddhist temple located in Linquanli, Beitou District, Taipei City, Taiwan. It was established through the donations of employees from the Taiwan Governor’s Office Transportation Bureau Railway Department. The temple’s architectural style is a blend of Japanese, Tang, and Zen influences, similar to Guanxin Temple. The main hall features a single-eave hip-and-gable roof, which is rare in Taiwan’s monasteries and represents the architectural style of the Edo period. The temple is open all year round from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
