The 17-kilometer single-lane pathway is composed of road surfaces and wooden boardwalks along the riverbank. Spanning a 17-kilometer coastline, there are numerous scenic spots where visitors can take a break and enjoy the beautiful coastal scenery. The pathway passes through thousands of hectares of tidal flats along the Xiangshan coast, which is a significant coastal wetland in the area. From north to south, it showcases landscapes such as the Nanliao Leisure Old Port Environmental Park, Sports Park, Sea Viewing Corridor, and Sea Viewing Park. The 17-kilometer coastal scenic belt in Hsinchu City, known as the ‘Eight Seascapes,’ has become a focal point for the city’s tourism development in recent years.
