Yong’an Seaside Park, located in Xinwu Township of Taoyuan County, is situated at the estuary of the Shezi River. It is connected to Yong’an Fishing Harbor by the Guanhai Bridge and spans approximately 8 hectares. This park is an ideal destination for enjoying the sea view, shell collecting, leisurely strolls, and water play along the coastal areas of Taoyuan. The Yong’an Seaside Recreation Area was developed by Xinwu Township Office using the original casuarina windbreak forest. The entire area is densely covered with square-shaped forests, exuding a tropical ambiance. It is divided into two parts: the first half is known as Yong’an Ocean Forest Park, featuring a large and intact coastal windbreak forest landscape, historic avenues of trees, as well as facilities such as ox carts, spinning tops, camping barbecue areas, physical fitness fields, and general recreational amenities. The second half is called Yong’an Seaside Park, which focuses on leisure and relaxation, and the appreciation of natural scenery. Strolling on the unique seaside shaded paths, collecting shells, and enjoying the views of the sea, leisurely walks, and playful activities all have a distinctive charm. The park is open all year round and accessible 24 hours a day.
