The Civic Aquarium in Milan, officially known as Acquario Civico, is a small yet beautiful attraction. Established in 1906, it was one of the series of buildings constructed for the Milan World Expo. It is located within the Sempione Park and is one of the few buildings from the Expo that were not demolished. Today, the Milan Civic Aquarium stands as one of the oldest buildings in Europe. The aquarium is open year-round from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM; it is closed all day on Mondays, as well as on December 25, January 1, and May 1. Please note that the actual operating status is subject to the daily opening conditions.
