This scenic spot is a series of religious architectural complexes built on mountaintops, constructed from the 16th to the 18th centuries. Inside, there are chapels, altars, and sculptures. These structures and the intricate carvings and paintings within make the Sacred Mountains of Piedmont a precious legacy of religious art from the Italian Renaissance period.
