Coming out of Lugano railway station and walking towards the lake, you will pass Reform Square. This is the central main square of Lugano. Although it is very small in area, it is extremely clean. Surrounded by arcaded shopping streets, there are many open-air cafes and handicraft shops. Reform Square is also a gathering place for locals and tourists to have meals. The pleasant atmosphere is very relaxing. On Tuesdays and Fridays, there will be morning markets selling fresh agricultural and sideline products on the square, becoming very lively.
