The Giuseppe Garibaldi Monument is a historic monument built in the late 19th century and made of bronze. At the top of the monument is a larger-than-life statue of Garibaldi on horseback, located on a stepped stone pedestal. On both sides of the base are two allegorical figures. On the east side is the female incarnation of freedom who sheathes her sword after fatally wounding the tyrannical tiger. On the right is another female incarnation, the female incarnation of revolution accompanied by a roaring lion. Open all year round and open all day.
