In recent years, Puli Winery has also developed various foods with Shaoxing wine, including Shaoxing popsicles, Shaoxing rice cakes, Shaoxing marinated products, Shaoxing tea eggs, and ageless eggs, which are deeply characteristic and have become one of the popular tourist routes in the local area
Located in Puli Town, Nantou County, Puli Winery is one of the two major tourist wineries under the local Tobacco and Alcohol Company
After many rounds of research and development, the winery used the natural spring water of Ailan in Puli to trial-produce Shaoxing wine
Finally, in 1952, the production of Shaoxing wine was successful
Since 1966, the production of lower-grade alcohols has been stopped
It has specialized in Shaoxing wine and mass-produced and promoted it
It has developed and produced Shaoxing brand characteristic wines such as Nu’er Hong, creating ‘the hometown of Shaoxing wine’ and telling ‘the story of Shaoxing wine’
Opening hours: Open from 09:00 to 17:00 from Monday to Friday throughout the year; Open from 09:00 to 17:30 on Saturday and Sunday throughout the year
