The Huwei Medical Hall was designed by George Leslie MacKay, featuring a blend of traditional Southern Fujian-style architecture with Western-style round arched windows, creating a simple yet harmonious fusion
Inside the hall, the surgical table, medicine bottles, and sickbeds used during the medical practice of the time are preserved, along with other artifacts such as the fireplace, doorbell, and MacKay’s organ, all in excellent condition
Additionally, there is a small café within the premises where visitors can rest and enjoy a cup of coffee in the tranquil atmosphere after a tiring walk
The hall is open all year round from Monday to Friday, 13:00 to 17:00
