Taichung Prefectural Office is located at the intersection of City Hall Road and Minquan Road in the West District of Taichung City
It was originally constructed in 1913 and used to be the official residence of the Taichung area, later becoming the office of the Taichung City Government

The opening hours are from 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM from Monday to Friday; from 11:00 AM to 8:30 PM on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year
