General Sun Li-ren (December 8, 1900 – November 19, 1990), styled Fumin and also known as Zhongneng, was born in Jinniu Town, Lujiang County, Anhui Province, at the end of the Qing Dynasty
He later joined the military and became a general in the resistance against Japanese aggression
The former residence now displays the life achievements of General Sun and some historical materials of modern history, providing a place for academic research and for people to commemorate and admire
