At the inspection station of Magong First Fishing Port, a soldier found a statue by the seawall
After several attempts to push it out of the port with a bamboo pole, it always floated back to the same place
So the soldier picked up the statue and enshrined it in the sentry box
Later, a reconstruction committee composed of believers rebuilt it into its current appearance, which is commonly known as the Guanyin Temple at Daguan Pass
