Jingzi Pavilion, also known as Shengji Pavilion, Jing Sheng Pavilion, and Zi Zhi Pavilion, embodies the traditional concept of ‘respecting characters and valuing literary customs’ deeply influenced by Confucianism
Coupled with the Hakka people’s great reverence for written characters, a furnace pavilion for burning gold paper was established in the village for the specific purpose of paper incineration

Mi Nong Village’s Jingzi Pavilion is a hollow hexagonal three-story brick tower constructed from swallow-tailed bricks, adorned with petal-shaped cut and paste decorations on the pavilion body, and shallowly engraved with the Ruyi pattern on the pavilion top, creating an elegant and simple antique appearance
Beneath the Jingzi Pavilion, a stone tablet enshrines deities such as Cangjie, Confucius, and the Emperor of Wenchang, who are closely related to education, reflecting Meilong’s emphasis on literature and education
