The brick rooms on both sides of the tunnel are where officers and soldiers live
In case of war, officers and soldiers can communicate with each other in the tunnel
The fortress is surrounded by cliffs on three sides
The ventilation and lighting inside the castle are quite good
Standing on the arched corridor and looking around, one can still feel the heroic spirit and national spirit of guarding the land and resisting invaders in those years
It is a historical witness of Penghu’s foreign relations
Facing the entrance of Penghu inland sea, climbing on the outer wall, one can overlook the magnificent ocean with excellent views
At present, it has been listed as a first-class historic site
