Dadu Wanxing Palace is a Mazu temple located in Dadu, Taichung City
Its Mazu is called ‘Flying Mother’ and ‘Top Street Mother’
There is a circumambulation activity called ‘Welcoming Mazu in Twenty Villages of Xibao’
Dadu Wanxing Palace was built in the first year of Qianlong (1736)
It is also known as ‘Top Street Mazu Temple’
The temple covers a vast area, facing west from east
There is an archway in front of the temple courtyard, and there are layers of mountains as a backdrop behind the temple
The architecture is in the hard mountain style of North China
There are two phoenixes dancing gracefully on the main ridge, with a god riding a tiger in the middle
The side ridges are two dragons
In the main hall, there are Mazu, Thousand-mile Eye, and Wind-accompanying Ear
In the back hall, Guanyin Bodhisattva is enshrined
There are Zhusheng Empress and City God in the left and right side niches respectively
Opening hours: Open from 5:00 to 17:00 all year round
