Zhao Ding, a native of Shanxi, was the teacher of Yue Fei and the Prime Minister of the Southern Song Dynasty who resisted the Jin Dynasty. It was due to his meticulous cultivation that the rise of Yue’s army was made possible. This statue depicts him with disheveled hair, eyes filled with indignation, left hand clenched into a fist, and right palm slamming on the table, capturing his worried heart and passionate emotions vividly.
