In the Yinggehai Salt Field, one can also visit the very interesting salt-making process. Generally, the afternoon is a relatively good time. At that time, one can see salt workers first crush the scooped up salt crystals and then pile the salt grains into small salt mountains.
The peak season for salt production is around May and June every year. At that time, the entire salt factory is filled with salt mountains, all white and extremely spectacular. Opening hours: open all day throughout the year.
