Xiangshui Bay is located at the foot of Niuling, the climatic dividing line between the north and south of Hainan Island, in the eastern part of Lingshui County. It is named after the spring water from Xiangshui Ridge that flows into the bay, adjacent to Shimo Bay in Wanning City, and facing the distant Boundary Island. Today, it still maintains its pristine coastal scenery. Upon entering Xiangshui Bay, the first thing that catches the eye is the lush coconut groves, followed by an endless silver beach, flat at the lower part and mounded at the higher end.
Xiangshui Bay is relatively tranquil. Walking along the coastline, the sound of waves is ever-present. The bay is open all year round, accessible 24/7. Essential tips: the beach is in its natural state and has larger waves, it is advised not to swim in the sea.
