The Coral Polyp Laboratory specializes in the conservation and research of coral reefs, committed to conducting scientific research and technological development on coral reef ecosystems, and has undertaken multiple research projects, including the development of coral reef restoration technologies and studies on the impact of climate change on coral reefs.
The laboratory offers a variety of marine exploration activities. Through our coral ecological sea-land tanks, you can observe corals and tropical fish up close, experiencing the unique charm of marine life.
In addition, we have designed a rich array of marine science experiments, such as sea grape DNA extraction, to help you understand the mysteries of biological genetics, seawater quality testing, to teach you how to analyze the health of the marine environment, and observing the details of coral cells under a microscope to explore the life structure of corals.
Furthermore, we have professional marine science educators who will provide you with marine knowledge, inspire your environmental awareness, and encourage you to become a guardian of the marine environment. The Coral Polyp Laboratory looks forward to exploring the ocean and safeguarding the future of coral reefs with you! Open all year round from 09:00 to 17:00.
