Sanya Wuzhizhou Island, in collaboration with Feng Xiaogang’s annual New Year’s comedy blockbuster ‘Tailor-Made’, has captured the public’s attention. This 2013 New Year’s comedy blockbuster, starring Ge You, Bai Baihe, Xiao Lu, Zheng Kai, and featuring comedy heavyweights such as Fan Wei, Song Dandan, and Wang Baoqiang, has garnered much attention since its release. As one of the key filming locations, Sanya Wuzhizhou Island’s unique tropical scenery and its charming pure island vacation style have won unanimous praise from the ‘Tailor-Made’ crew and celebrities. The ‘important filming location’ chosen by Director Feng is the freshwater swimming pool next to the Pirate Bar. Nestled between the blue sky and coconut groves, this crescent-shaped lake is framed against the backdrop of the sea and sky, with a white architectural structure resembling a ‘bird’s nest’ built between the sea and sky. Under the contrast of bougainvillea, blue sky, lake, and the swaying shadows of coconut trees, it appears particularly serene and tranquil.
The ‘Dream Company Office’ in the Wuzhizhou Island tourist area has become a new destination for countless visitors, and ‘Tailor-Made’ has also become a synonym for Hainan’s tourism routes and products. The island is open to visitors all year round from 08:00 to 17:30.
