The Sanya Nanshan International Intangible Cultural Heritage Experience Center is a hub for a variety of domestic and international intangible cultural heritage projects. It is recognized as the ‘Hainan Province Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition and Research Base’ and ‘Hainan Province Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritance and Protection Base’. In 2022, it was selected as one of the first batch of ‘National Intangible Cultural Heritage and Tourism Integration Development Priority Projects’.
