In recent years, Jinmujiao has become favored by maritime sports enthusiasts and has emerged as a popular location for wedding photography. Sanya has gradually developed one-day tour projects themed around Jinmujiao, attracting visitors to this scenic spot.
Due to its unique geographical position, surrounded by the sea on three sides and mountains on one, Jinmujiao is truly a ‘remote corner of the earth’. Apart from the solitary lighthouse standing between the sea and sky, the area is rarely visited by people. The iconic structure, Jinmujiao Lighthouse, offers a panoramic view of the water and sky, with vast expanses of misty waves and many beautiful landscapes that remain unknown to many.
Currently, most visitors to Jinmujiao arrive by private car or through local travel agencies offering one-day tour packages. Activities include fishing and barbecuing on a 360-degree sea-view fishing platform, as well as diving in the sea. The area is open all day from January 1st to December 31st.
