Hongkan Waterfall is located in the southeast of Yuanmen Township, Baisha Li Autonomous County.
The total drop of the Hongkan Waterfall is 145 meters. The waterfall originates from Hongkan Ridge at an elevation of 1101 meters, with towering peaks on both sides, sheer cliffs, and dense karst formations.
The sky-high river cascades down, resembling a silver dragon descending from the heavens. The waterfall also looks like a silver snake dancing wildly, impacting the layered rocks and creating a myriad of scenes. During the rainy season, when mountain floods erupt, the sound of the waterfall is like thunder, shaking the mountains and displaying a majestic and spectacular momentum.
